Haiti is still struggling with COVID-19, and with a leadership vacuum the gangs are running the country. Additionally, with high inflation, the people of Haiti face astonishing difficulties.
However, Maxo keeps the Community School of Bellevue open as much as possible! The community is doing their best to social distance, but with no electricity or plumbing, people must go out when they feel safe for food. Sanitation facilities are few and far between. Healthcare is basically nonexistent. We are doing our best to keep providing funding so that Maxo can keep the school open,
and the children are excelling!
